Gfab was established in 1999 by Gary Fell a London trained architect (ULC Bartlett 1993) who had been working in Bali in a senior capacity on the Four Seasons resort Sayan Bali. Upon completion of that project, Gfab was founded on the strength of a number of projects in Australia and Indonesia.

Since then our work has taken us to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and even Spain, as well as our original base of Indonesia and Australia. Gfab, whilst being an architectural practice first and foremost is able to draw on a number of skills to offer a "complete" design service comprising architectural, interior, furniture, lighting and landscape design. At time of writing, the office numbers 15 architects plus 2 support staff and is engaged in projects in all the aforementioned countries.
