Samujana.

Samujana was established by Howard Bilton and Steve Hayward, two well known and respected lawyers and business men with considerable experience of living and working in Asia... some 35 years between them (old gits for sure!). Howard is Chairman of the Sovereign Group... see www.sovereigngroup.com, who are coordinating the legals, accounting and other administrative matters (that is what they do!). Steve is Chairman and founder of Indo China Assets, the company who established the now legendary FCC Bar/Restaurant/Hotels in Cambodia ...see www.fcccambodia.com He was also a partner for many years in Asia with a leading City of London law firm.

Having purchased the land (some 38 Rai) over a continuous period from 1993 to 2003, Howard and Steve decided to finally begin the construction of a contemporary yet sensitive home. With considerable interest shown from friends and associates alike, as well as FCC to manage the residences when complete they determined to develop the complete site, in three gentle and calculated phases over a period of 4 years... 2 of which have gone.

Although both Howard and Steve have some experience of developing houses and resorts (Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Spain and Australia), they realized from the outset that well respected consultants would be required. To that end, Gary Fell, architect and Four Seasons Bali and FCC Ankor Wat fame, Kevin Fahey, builder/project manager and Chiva Som fame, Warnes, civil engineering and design (and too many projects to name) fame, were engaged and with Samujana to became the Team. Results speak for themselves with Villa 7 complete and Villas 6 and 8 3/4 complete.
